Oatmeal

Oatmeal is one of the few types of cereals which is hardly processed. Oatmeal is known as the main ingredient of oatmeal porridge. This is a popular combination and therefore the ideal main component for our shake. Partly thanks to oatmeal, Bloom contains 2,40 grams of fibre per 100 kilocalories, which makes Bloom a source of fibres.

Pea protein

Bloom deliberately chooses not to include animal protein in the shake. We use various plant based protein sources instead, among which pea protein. The combination with other protein sources in our recipe provides you of all essential amino acids. Together they ensure 23% of the energy value comes from protein, this makes Bloom high in protein and therefore it contributes to muscle growth and muscle and bone maintenance.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is derived from sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil contains more unsaturated fats that saturated fats. Furthermore, sunflower oil is a very neutral tasting oil, this makes it a pleasant ingredient for our recipe.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is derived from sunflower seeds and is recommended by the Dutch Nutrition Center. Sunflower oil is low in saturated fats and contains more unsaturated fats. Besides that, it is a vital source of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil, also known as coconut fat and derived from the coconut meat. It is our second source of fat in our recipe, it consists of medium chain fatty acids which is an addition to our head fat ingredient: sunflower oil.

Broken flaxseed

Flaxseed is the seed of the plant flax. The seed originated from Central Asia about 8000 years ago. The seeds have a hard shell that is difficult to break down by the human body. The fat from the broken flaxseed in our recipe is an excellent addition to the Bloom fat composition it has from sunflower and coconut oil.

Vitamins & Minerals

Bloom also contains a vitamin & mineral blend, making sure all micronutrients are present in the recipe. The vitamins are: A,B1,B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B11, B12, C, D, E.
